HKAIA attended the 2025 Hong Kong International Talent and Career Expo's panel discussion session(2025-09-30)

On 30 August 2025, Ir. Dr. Angus Cheung, President of HKAIA, was invited to be a distinguished guest speaker at the 2025 Hong Kong International Talent and Career Expo’s panel discussion session.

 

 

The expo aims to strengthen Hong Kong's position as an international talent hub by consolidating resources, enhancing talent services, and fostering connections between talent, enterprises, projects, and capital. The event united prominent government officials, industry leaders, and enterprises from sectors such as logistics, aviation, culture, tourism, and finance, among other high-growth industries, creating valuable opportunities for job seekers and entrepreneurs.

 

 

What Ir. Dr. Angus Cheung attended was the “strengthening commercial and trade logistics to enhance regional competitiveness” panel discussion session. He opened by discussing how to strengthen regional competitiveness by optimizing air freight logistics efficiency and explained what he considered the current greatest challenge. During the period, he and the other guest speakers jointly discussed the current applications of smart logistics technologies in Hong Kong, aiming to identify solutions to accelerate their adoption and thereby enhance overall logistics efficiency and visibility.

 

 

As the leader and coordinator of the aviation industry, HKAIA will participate in various relevant activities to enhance the competitiveness and future development of Hong Kong’s aviation industry, support the sector in addressing challenges such as supply chain issues and workforce shortages, and seize emerging opportunities.
