The seminar was held on 29-30 April 2008 with 10 participants.

AS9100 is an international quality system requirement in aviation industry. It is highly recommended to have an in-depth understanding on the quality system before the company participates in the aviation business. The workshop objective is to introduce the quality and certification requirements to the aviation engineers and senior executives in Hong Kong.

The seminar provided the participants with a basic understanding on AS9100, an aerospace quality management system; an overview on the rules and regulations for aerospace manufacturing industry; aerospace and aviation auditing system; and technical and testing standards for the aerospace manufacturing industry.
