HKAIA is a supporting organization to a Study Mission on the Aviation and Auto Parts Manufacturing Industry in Tianjin, which was held from 2-4th December 2009. 19 people participated in this mission and they were arranged to visit the Airbus Tianjin, Goodrich Aerostructures Service (China) Company, Tianjin FAWTOYOTA Motor Company, Tianjin Pacific Auto Parts Company and Tianjin Faw Xiali Automobile Company.

Through this mission, participants could get an insight and the latest market information about the aviation and auto parts manufacturing technology in Tianjin. Furthermore, they were also be able to explore opportunities for more business and technology cooperation with the Mainland industry.
