Asian Aerospace International Expo and Congress 8-10 September 2009, AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong Details

Asian Aerospace International Expo and Congress will be held during 8-10 September 2009 at AsiaWorld-Expo Hong Kong. 

It is the world’s largest single-focused exhibition featuring over 400 exhibiting companies and congress for the commercial aerospace and civil aviation market with particular emphasis on the Asia-Pacific region.




 
Moving Past the Turmoil: Opportunities in the Asia-Pacific Aerospace Industry on 12 June 2009 Details

Organized by the Hong Kong Aviation Industry Association and co-organized by the Hong Kong Productivity Council, the seminar <> took place on 12 June 2009 with more than 40 participants.

Kenneth Chan, Consultant of Aerospace & Defense, Asia Pacific was invited to give presentations. Mr. Y.P. Tsang, Acting Assistant Director, Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department, Mr. Johnny Yuk, Former General Manager, Engineering of Hong Kong Express and Dr. Angus Cheung, CEO of China Aircraft Services Limited were invited to be the panelists to share their views during the seminar.
 




 
Seminar on “Latest Aircraft Development, Flight Crew Training and Safety Management” Details

 

 

The seminar was held on 21 June 2008 with 13 participants.

The objective of this seminar was to introduce the latest trend in aircraft development, flight crew training and safety management to the aircraft engineers and senior executives in Hong Kong.

 




 
Seminar on AS 9100 Aerospace Quality Management System and Certification Requirements Details

 

The seminar was held on 29-30 April 2008 with 10 participants.

 

 


AS9100 is an international quality system requirement in aviation industry. It is highly recommended to have an in-depth understanding on the quality system before the company participates in the aviation business. The workshop objective is to introduce the quality and certification requirements to the aviation engineers and senior executives in Hong Kong.

Asian Aerospace 2007 International Expo and Congress - HKAIA Presentation Session Details

The Asian Aerospace 2007 International Expo and Congress had been held on 3-6 Sept 2007. The president of HKAIA, Mr Jackson HO, had a very successful presentation session in the open forum of the expo on 5 Sept 2007(WED) to foster the image HKAIA and the Hong Kong aviation industry.




 
HKCAD Sharing Session - Hong Kong Aviation Overview and the formation of HKAR21 (Aviation Parts Manufacturing) Details

We are pleased to invite Mr. Y.P. Tsang, Chief, Airworthiness Standards and Mr. Eric Cheung, Senior Airworthiness Officer to give us a presentation on 'Hong Kong Aviation Overview and the formation of HKAR21 (Aviation Parts Manufacturing). About 20 members had enrolled the event.




 
Debriefing Session and Dinner – HK Aviation Industry to USA Details

The mission group of “Training Course on AS9100 Quality Management System and FAA Part Approval Process for Aviation Industry to USA” had returned on 23 April and brought the latest aviation industry information, findings and training materials. A debriefing session organized by the Manufacturing Branch of HKAIA had been held on 28 May (Mon) for the HKAIA members who joined the mission to share their learning with those could not join.




 
Tianjin Free Trade Zone, Airport Industrial Park, Airport Logistic Area Investment Introduction Session Details

China's national planning agency has approved Airbus' selection of Tianjin for the location of its A320 jets assembly line, the first outside the aircraft maker's European base. The assembly line will be located in the Binhai New Area (BNA) of Tianjin, a northern port city. The first aircraft is expected to roll off the line in 2008 and four aircraft will be manufactured every month since 2011, according to a cooperation memorandum between the two sides.
